I was in Year 11 at school when I went to this concert. I remember going with Danny, a mate from school. My memories of the show are hazy at best, by I do remember it being an awesome gig- incredibly tight.

It was the first time I’d seen Ratcat and I was a MASSIVE fan. It did strike me as odd that Andrew Polin, Ratcat’s drummer, was wearing a Ratcat T-shirt on stage. I have no idea why that’s stayed in my memory for the past 20 years….

It was INXS’ X tour and even though that album was no Kick, it was (and still is) a brilliant record, and the live show didn’t disappoint.

I was in the middle of work experience at Palings Music Store in the city at the time, and wore my newly purchased INXS shirt to work the next day. I remember feeling very rock.
