I remember nought of this show, except that it was the Blue Sky Mining Tour. My grandparents had bought me that record for my birthday that year (I remember being amazed that the LP had made it through the post without being smashed to smithereens), and I loved it.
I also remember that it was the end of year 10, and my parents said I couldn’t go if I had any exams after it. When I bought the tickets, our exam timetable hadn’t been released so I had no idea if I’d be clear or not. Thankfully, my final exam was the day before, so the concert was almost like an end of year party.
I totally butchered my exams by the way.
